Well, the woke mob has “won” again.
Specifically by dismantling 114 years of tradition by ensuring that all genders are included in the Boy Scouts.
That’s right: The Boy Scouts, which have long been known for training the next generation of young men to be self-sufficient (not to mention decent) human beings, apparently decided it’s a great idea to change the name to something more “gender neutral.”
Now, the organization previously known as the Boy Scouts is to be named “Scouting America,” which ensures that all genders feel “welcome.”
As directly declared by Roger Krone, who serves as the new President and Chief Executive Officer.
“In the next 100 years, we want any youth in America to feel very, very welcome to come into our programs,” Krone boomed.
Oddly, Krone doesn’t appear to consider how “very, very” un-welcome more than one Boy Scout may well feel following this announcement.
Especially as the name change is little more than a thin veneer designed to placate the transgender mob.
“Part of my job is to reduce all the barriers I possibly can for people to accept us as an organization and to join,” Krone brayed.
Is that so? Well, news to Krone, the Girl Scouts of America have long been in existence as well, where actual females are “very, very welcome.”
Alas, Krone appears intent on undermining the all-female organization with his suspicious dedication to “inclusion” shortly after becoming the new leader.
“It sends this really strong message to everyone in America that they can come to this program, they can bring their authentic self, they can be who they are and they will be welcomed here,” Krone added.
“Their authentic self,” huh?
Translation: Confused transgender kids who are obviously brainwashed by perverse teachers.
Teachers who pop up in the news left and right for sexually abusing students. Yet they’re entrusted with the so-called “education” of this nation’s future.
Most disturbingly of all, Krone claims that the “mission” of the Boy Scouts remains the same, despite its obvious lurch to the left.
“Though our name will be new, our mission remains unchanged: we are committed to teaching young people to be prepared for life … This will be a simple but very important evolution as we seek to ensure that everyone feels welcome in Scouting,” Krone brayed.
Right.
“Scouting America provides a welcoming, safe environment where youth can become the best version of themselves by learning from and respecting each other,” Krone concluded.
Sure. A “safe” environment … provided you’re a militant leftist.
Needless to say, more than one Republican saw right through the charade, notably Representative Andrew Clyde, a Georgia Republican.
“Wokeness destroys everything it touches,” Clyde declared.
Indeed, it does.
