Remember how the McCloskey family was eviscerated by the fake news media for daring to stand up to armed intruders that violently broke into their community and proceeded to harass them on their own private property?
Even more pathetically, the McCloskey’s were charged for exactly nothing, especially considering that Missouri definitely has the “Castle Doctrine” embedded in its legislation.
Amazingly, the state of Missouri still managed to confiscate their weapons, as well as effectively force them into pleading guilty to misdemeanors.
Well, as it turns out, the McCloskey’s have had the last laugh, which is not to surprising considering conservatives tend to have vastly more functional brain cells on average than screeching leftists.
Immediately after having their weapons removed, Mark McCloskey promptly bought a new AR, which is likely an even more advanced, powerful version than the one confiscated by rather incompetent activists masquerading as “prosecutors” in the state.
And Mark McCloskey made his decision quite obvious, with a rather gleeful post on Twitter.
“Checking out my new AR!” [Source: Fox News]
Take that, Democrats.
On top of that, McCloskey did something that would seem rather alien to Democrats, which means referencing his Constitution-based decision.
“We’re strong advocates of the Second Amendment and we’re going to continue to exercise our rights and protect ourselves … We intend to keep our arms and bear them. We’re a constitutional carry state. I will replace those (guns) which the state took.” [Source: Fox News]
Thank you, Mark McCloskey, for refusing to back down to Democrats determined to destroy your life and reputation (ironically, theyr’e making McCloskey more and more of a hero to Constitution-supporting Americans).
That support will only grow, considering the disparate treatment the McCloskey’s received, especially relative to the “protestors.”
After all, what punishment was received by the “protestors” that tore down a “No Trespassing sign,” bashed through an iron gate, and proceeded to cause utter havoc upon entry?
Well, a grand total of nine were arrested, and a grand total of nine were let off scot free, with zero prosecution, last September, apparently because the trespassing charge “is not warranted.”
However, apparently charging individuals, namely the McCloskey’s, who are defending themselves against violent criminals is “warranted.”
Never mind the actual fear that the law-abiding (and high tax paying) McCloskey family felt upon seeing the mob descend upon them.
“It was a very, very frightening experience. As soon as I said the words ‘private property,’ it seemed to enrage them. As if that phrase ‘private property’ was a fire for them. I ran in, got my rifle. I started standing on the wing of the patio saying, ‘Private property! Get out! Get out of here!’ They kept pouring in. That seemed to make them want to come forward.” [Source: Fox News]
Fortunately, Trump was president at the time of the incident, and he did not hold back in his criticism of the violent rioters.
“When you look at St. Louis, where two people, they came out. They were going to be beat up badly if they were lucky. If they were lucky. They were going be beat up badly and the house was going to be totally ransacked and probably burned down like they tried to burn down churches. And these people were standing there, never used it and they were legal, the weapons, and now I understand somebody local, they want to prosecute these people. It’s a disgrace.” [Source: Townhall]
Trump did more than just talk (something that the Democrats would not understand); he also contacted Mike Parson, the Governor of Missouri, with regards to the McCloskey’s.
Much to the rage of the ultra-leftist St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.
“It is unbelievable the Governor of the state of Missouri would seek advice from one of the most divisive leaders in our generation to overpower the discretion of a locally elected prosecutor …
It is also incredible that at a time when our nation is dealing with a rapidly spreading deadly virus and our State reported a record number of new infections, they are launching these dog-whistle attacks against me.” [Source: AP News]
It is actually unbelievable that St. Louis punishes law-abiding citizens while letting criminals roam free, but such discrimination will eventually backfire … on the leftists.
