Race “Reparations” Are Officially a Thing — Here’s How Much

Another day, another example of mass discrimination from ultra-leftists.

Except this time, they’ve unwisely decided to discriminate against one another, as evidenced by the actions taken by Charlette LeFevre and Philip Lipson, the directors of Capitol Hill Pride, the presumed leaders of Seattle’s major pride event.

Pride events have already attracted rightful scrutiny in various areas of the nation, including New York City, which recently made headlines for openly discriminating against LGBTQ police officers, basically informing them they are not welcome.

Even the Washington Post called out such brazen discrimination, which is saying … a lot.

After all, the open discrimination against LGTBQ officers in New York apparently included law enforcement of any background, including race. Apparently, race is off the table when it comes to law enforcement, as all of them are apparently unwelcome.

However, on the West Coast, where law enforcement officers repeatedly face open discrimination (including Starbucks employees refusing police service), lefties have apparently decided that their fellow white lefties should pay up.

Apparently, Ms. LeFevre and Mr. Lipson believed that it was totally appropriate to extract “reparations” from the ultra-leftists white attendees, or, more accurately, given the rather lame Facebook announcement, “white allies and accomplices.”

White allies and accomplices are welcome to attend but will be charged a $10 to $50 reparations fee that will be used to keep this event free of cost for BLACK & BROWN Trans & Queer COMMUNITY.” [Source: Fox News]

So, in other words, people of color are charged nothing whereas white attendees are charged everything, all in the name of “reparations.”

If that is not a brazenly racist “price structure,” it’s hard to say what is … Plus, how exactly would that work out if someone is mixed race, like half black and half white?

You know, kind of like Obama.

Or more accurately, exactly like Obama, who enjoyed a rather “privileged” upbringing himself in a white household based in Hawaii. Not bad.

Regardless, it would be interesting to see how they would go about charging attendees who are half or a quarter white. Would they then be charged 50 percent or 25 percent of whatever “$10-$50” admission fee, respectively, rather than 100 percent of it?

Amazingly, the Seattle Human Rights Commission, which one would normally think of as ultra-liberal, apparently took issue with the rather racist pricing structure, and they let their feelings be known, pronto.

“It has come to our attention that an event called ‘Take B(l)ack Pride’ at the Jimi Hendrix public park June 26th is charging Whites only admission as reparations … We consider this reverse discrimination in its worse form and we feel we are being attacked for not supporting due to disparaging and hostile e-mails.” [Source: Fox News]

“Reverse discrimination in its worst form.” Absolutely correct, and absolutely stunning that any council in Seattle actually stated this phrase out loud, given that some people apparently think that “only” white people can be “racist.”

Needless to say, Ms. LeFevre and Mr. Lipson furiously backpedaled, all while claiming that they didn’t “mean” to “attack or divide.”

“We apologize for the inquiry to the City of Seattle regarding Take B(l)ack Pride, it was not meant to be an attack or divide but to ensure equality for all … Capitol Hill Pride encourages community events and our mission is to recognize the LGBTQ+ community and all spectrums …

We sincerely want to elevate the segment of the LGBTQ community especially of black transgender women, recognize the important history and contributions and support this segment of the hidden rainbow … At this time we have requested an invitation of a meeting of hosting parties to resolve any issues and find common ground.” [Source: Fox News]

Spare us all, as these organizers clearly want to elevate their own woke egos and agenda, and they clearly would have had zero issue charging white leftists upwards of $50 or more, had the Seattle Human Rights Commission not stepped in.

One can only imagine what other types of reparations schemes may be concocted in the future …
