Fauci Won Many Battles — But Rand Paul Just Won The War

Over the past several months, Rand Paul and Anthony Fauci have openly brawled over the COVID pandemic, deliberating virtually all major elements of the catastrophe.

From natural immunity to mandated masks to vaccine efficacy, Paul and Fauci have oftentimes taken opposite sides of an issue, and, more often than not, Paul has humorously been proven correct on more than one occasion.

However, Paul and Fauci have battled the most virulently over the real origins of COVID, with Paul long suggesting that Fauci knows far more than he has let on publicly, as well as to Congress.

In fact, Paul had such grave doubts about Fauci’s honesty that he sent the Department of Justice a criminal referral request regarding Fauci, as he believes Fauci may have openly lied about the role American federal funds played in Chinese “gain of function” research.

Paul also gave Fauci the opportunity to redeem himself several months earlier, asking him pointedly if he wanted to retract his claims regarding federal funds and coronavirus research.

“Dr. Fauci, knowing that it is a crime to lie to Congress, do you wish to retract your statement of May 11, where you claimed that the NIH never funded gains-of-function research in Wuhan?” [Source: Fox News]

However, Fauci emphatically stated that he never lied to Congress, and he also refused to retract his statement.

Not long thereafter, Paul filed his criminal complaint. And while the Biden-influenced DoJ has predictably done nothing thus far, the department may be encouraged to do so after the latest revelations regarding what Fauci knows and doesn’t know.

As it turns out, Fauci may have wanted to retract his statement after all, courtesy of the treasure trove of documentation obtained by The Intercept via the Freedom of Information Act.

The Intercept had made repeated requests for documentation regarding the National Institutes of Health, and the publication finally received them.

Needless to say, these documents have more than amply vindicated Paul’s commentary on Fauci’s honesty.

These documents shed light into two different grant proposals, which had been previously unpublished, and it is safe to say that these grant proposals involved exactly what Paul has been saying all along: American taxpayer funds being utilized for studying coronaviruses in China.

For instance, EcoHealth Alliance, which is headed by Peter Daszak, is a U.S. health organization that utilized federal money for funding coronavirus research at various Chinese laboratories.

This organization’s grant, the rather ominously titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” aimed to examine multiple thousands of bat viruses for coronavirus samples. This grant, to put it rather mildly, involved rather unsavory scientific work.

“Fieldwork involves the highest risk of exposure to SARS or other CoVs, while working in caves with high bat density overhead and the potential for fecal dust to be inhaled.” [Source: Townhall]

Well, the description above is rather blatant. The grant proposal openly states that the fieldwork will involve working with “CoVs,” a direct contradiction of what Fauci has stated publicly.

Troublingly, some of the key experimental work occurred in the biosafety level 3 lab, the Wuhan University Center for Animal Experiment, rather than the level 4 lab, the now infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Given that high-risk experiments occurred in labs with lower safety settings, the latest documentation enhances likelihood of COVID’s origins in a laboratory, not a random seafood market.

Tellingly, Daszak has vehemently denied the possibility of COVID originating from a laboratory, though his claims, like Fauci’s, are becoming flatter and flatter as the “facts” come out.

Needless to say, Paul was not at all surprised by the revelations from The Intercept.

“Surprise surprise – Fauci lied again And I was right about his agency funding novel Coronavirus research at Wuhan. Read this thread and the papers released.” [Source: Fox News]

Even more tellingly, other individuals aside from Paul are calling for Fauci to face the consequences of his public deception.

For instance, Trump-endorsed Joe Kent, a Congressional candidate, openly called out the “collapsed” narrative of Fauci.

“The narrative collapses, we must hold Fauci, the NIH & the CCP responsible. Criminal charges for Fauci. Seize all CCP assets in the US, kick them out of capital markets, expel all CCP linked ppl from the US.” [Source: Townhall]

Perhaps the DoJ might feel more inspired to look into Paul’s criminal referral by now …
