One of the most exciting developments in American politics is now under a week away, as Tyrant Newsom’s recall election is set to take place on September 14.
Newsom, who is well-known for turning California into an effective prison during the pandemic, is apparently becoming increasingly nervous about the outcome of the upcoming election, especially given the degree of attacks that have been levied against Larry Elder.
Larry Elder, a black conservative radio host, has been openly critical of Newsom’s destruction of his state, and he has rapidly become one of voters’ top choices to replace Newsom.
If Elder were to win the upcoming gubernatorial race, he would also be California’s first black governor.
However, leftists are apparently more hateful towards political ideology than they are accepting of color, as they have seriously turned up their attacks on Elder in the past several weeks, both in person and in print.
Recently, for instance, a member of Larry Elder’s team made a wry observation regarding a rather uncomfortable “welcome” from a group of ultra-leftist, (likely) professional protestors.

Even more insane? One of the egg-hurling assailants was apparently a woman wearing a gorilla mask, which is probably not the most appropriate attire to wear for numerous reasons.
Not to mention a gorilla mask conveniently hides the face of the perpetrator so it’s more difficult to charge them with a crime, but knowing leftists in California, they’re likely just thrilled to see a giant-sized mask wrapped around someone’s face.
Unsurprisingly, the gorilla mask-wearer also apparently slapped a member of Elder’s staff, while other leftists hurled vicious insults, including “piece of s—t,” at the aspiring gubernatorial candidate.
Of course, like any destructive squadron, the leftists also need their so-called elite to justify their atrocious behavior, no matter how absurd the elite may sound out loud.
Just take the case of Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State LA and a co-founder of Black Lives Matter’s L.A. chapter

“A black face on white supremacy?” Exactly how does that work, “Dr.” Abdullah?
Then again, since Democrats also think men inhabit women’s bodies and vice versa, it appears only natural that they would begin making absurd statements like the above.
What’s pitiful is that students go into tens of thousands of debt in order to receive an “education” from individuals such as “Dr.” Abdullah.
And, since leftists aren’t exactly known for their sterling creativity, it is also no surprise that Los Angeles Times, Erika Smith co-opted Dr. Abdullah’s absurdity for her own opinion piece, which boasts a rather inelegant title: “Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned.”
Smith makes a series of breathtaking uncompelling arguments throughout her opinion piece, including the following.
“[Elder uses] willful blindness and cherry-picked facts to make overly simplistic arguments that whitewash the complex problems that come along with being Black in America.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
If anyone is “willfully” blind, it would be leftists accusing black conservatives of being white supremacists.
Fortunately, the vastly more mature Elder has taken everything in stride, and he does not appear even remotely surprised by the attacks that he is currently facing.
“I anticipated that would happen. This is why a lot of people don’t go into politics because of the politics of personal destruction … This is not the first time the L.A. Times has attacked me, there is another writer who all but called me a Black David Duke …
They are scared to death … The state is practically ungovernable with Democrats enjoying supermajorities in the Senate and the Assembly, plus a left-wing clueless governor totally beholden to the teachers union that opposes choice in school.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Clearly, Elder is precisely the type of leader California needs: He filters out the noise and insults (note that Elder doesn’t need a “safe space” like the leftists), and he focuses on the issues at hand.
Namely the drunk on power Democrats and their utterly wanton destruction of the state.
In addition, Elder brings to mind the best elements of Trump’s campaign, which keep the focus on the people, not the politicians.
“Californians know we can do better. The problem is Gavin Newsom, our arrogant out-of-touch governor, has got to go. And I hope that I will be the person you choose to be his successor …

One can only hope that no funny business happens at the California polls … though the fact that a felon was recently busted (passed out) with hundreds of ballots leads one to wonder …
