Trump Envisions The Ultimate Red Wave
In a highly unlikely turn of events, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris actually (albeit indirectly) appear to agree on a likely political development:
An imminent red sweep in the 2022 midterm elections.
After all, prior to Terry McAuliffe’s ill-fated gubernatorial run in Virginia, which was upset by political newcomer (and Trump-endorsed) Glenn Youngkin, Ms. Harris made a rather intriguing observation.
“What happens in Virginia will, in large part, determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on.” [Source: Fox News]
Will it ever … and Trump is on the same page as Ms. Harris when it comes to the 2022 midterms.
In a recent press release, Trump demonstrated essential agreement with Harris, who is undoubtedly eating her words on a daily basis.
“I stand before you this evening to say that if we do our jobs, and if we stick together, then exactly one year from today, we are going to be watching a massive red wave sweep across this country — and we are going to be celebrating the election of the largest House Republican majority in American history.” [Source: Washington Examiner]
Fantastic news for Republicans, and terrible news for the Democrats.
However, Trump is exactly right: Provided that conservatives remain united, eschewing the internal conflicts that are presently tearing the Democrat Party apart, then it is highly likely that a massive red wave will sweep across the nation under a year from now.
Just imagine a nation filled with Congressional and Senate leaders that actually (gasp!) believe in secure borders and actually (gasp!) think the nation has fish that are a tad bigger to fry than passports with an “X” option for gender.
Moreover, a Republican-heavy house will stymie the worst efforts of Pelosi and Co. to destroy the nation, as well as set the nation back on track for the greatness that emerged during Trump’s presidency.
The same greatness that was squashed into oblivion by Biden in multiple ways, starting with his insane number of executive orders on Day One.
GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy also echoes Trump’s thoughts, remarking that a number of Democrat incumbents should be very nervous about their seats in next year’s elections.
“If you’re a Democrat and President Biden won your seat by 16 points, you’re in a competitive race next year. You are no longer safe.” [Source: Washington Examiner]
However, while the Republicans are well-positioned ideologically to win, they must form a strong bulwark against any machinations from the Democrats to disrupt the elections, however large or small.
Frankly, Biden himself has engaged in efforts to disrupt elections, judging by how brazenly he has attacked Georgia’s election integrity laws without even bothering to read the actual fine print of the laws themselves.
Which is precisely why Trump is strongly advocating voter integrity laws, and not the type of voter “integrity” (i.e., a free for all) demanded by Democrats.
“[Republicans should pass] a comprehensive election security overhaul that includes nationwide photo ID, chain of custody protection, signature verification, citizenship confirmation, and importantly, ensuring that every election can be fully and quickly audited. And especially, if you could get it, same day voting. One day, you vote, and the election’s over.” [Source: Washington Examiner]
All of the above are perfectly common sense recommendations, and all of the above should be more than possible in a highly advanced nation that certainly has the means to achieve all of the above.
Election integrity remains an especially critical issue in light of highly publicized ballot harvesting scams and other issues that can disrupt elections, regardless of the degree of disruption.
Which is precisely why elections should become, as Trump proclaims, “un-riggable.”

One can only hope that a red wave in 2022 will be followed by a massive dose of MAGA in 2024 …
