Schumer Unveils Sinister Plan For Future Elections

The new year has barely begun, yet the Democrats are already launching a fresh attack on electoral integrity.

After all, they have upcoming midterm elections to prepare for in 2022.

One can only hope that McConnell may stand up to the latest shenanigans launched by the Democrat party, but it is inadvisable to raise hopes too high.

Which is precisely why it will be vitally important for as many conservatives to turn out to the polls as possible in order to offset any potential shenanigans the Democrats may have planned, as it is highly likely that they are overdue for quite the shellacking.

Given the abysmal approval ratings for the Biden administration, federalizing elections would clearly serve the ailing Democrats’ needs, as elections run at the federal level will ensure even greater representation of sanctuary cities, the most rapidly growing voter bloc for Democrats.

Which is undoubtedly why Senator Chuck Schumer apparently felt compelled to send a rather inflammatory letter to other Senate Democrats on January 3, which effectively stated that he intends to change the Senate rules entirely if Republicans refuse to go along with his little scheme to nationalize elections and effectively kiss electoral integrity goodbye.

“The fight for the ballot is as old as the Republic. Over the coming weeks, the Senate will once again consider how to perfect this union and confront the historic challenges facing our democracy …

We hope our Republican colleagues change course and work with us. But if they do not, the Senate will debate and consider changes to Senate rules on or before January 17, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to protect the foundation of our democracy: free and fair elections.” [Source: The Hill]

“As old as the Republic.” Wow. Melodramatic much?

Speaking of the so-called “Republic,” would that be the same government that features a constitution that the Democrats are chomping at the bit to destroy? Isn’t that “Republic” beyond offensive for liberals these days?

Of course, Schumer had to loop January 6 into his effective demand to nationalize elections, as if the Democrats hadn’t been plotting to overtake the election process long before the events of January 6.

Besides, Ms. Pelosi is widely reported to have declined having sufficient police presence at the Capitol shortly before Biden took over the swamp, and the motivation for such a terrible decision seems even clearer in hindsight.

After all, January 6 apparently gives the Democrats carte blanche to do anything, including impeach a private citizen … after failing to convict the same individual the first time when they were serving as president.

Just consider Schumer’s whining about January 6 below.

“Make no mistake about it: this week Senate Democrats will make clear that what happened on January 6th and the one-sided, partisan actions being taken by Republican-led state legislatures across the country are directly linked, and we can and must take strong action to stop this anti- democratic march …

Specifically, as we honor the brave Capitol police officers who defended us from those motivated by the Big Lie who tried to undo a fair and free election, Senate Democrats will continue to make the case for passing voting rights legislation to counter the Republican voter suppression and election nullification laws with the same anti-democratic motives born out of the Big Lie.” [Source: Townhall]

“One-sided, partisan actions.” Gee, sounds like the entirety of the Biden administration to date, not to mention all its hapless followers (including the fictional news media).

And as far as “anti-democratic motives” are concerned, Biden’s vaccine mandates are being slapped down left and right by federal judges who are unamused by the president’s disregard of checks and balances, so Schumer hardly has any room whatsoever to talk about any “anti-democratic motives” present in the Republican party.

Amazingly, Schumer continues to harp about January 6 in his letter, revealing the extent to which the events on Capitol Hill have grossly, and ironically, empowered some of the most anti-American liberals in existence today.

“Let me be clear: January 6th was a symptom of a broader illness – an effort to delegitimize our election process, and the Senate must advance systemic democracy reforms to repair our republic or else the events of that day will not be an aberration – they will be the new norm …

Given the urgency of the situation and imminence of the votes, we as Senate Democrats must urge the public in a variety of different ways to impress upon their Senators the importance of acting and reforming the Senate rules, if that becomes a perquisite for action to save our democracy.” [Source: Townhall]

Oh, of course. One thing is clear: Schumer demonstrates a breathtaking lack of awareness regarding what is going on inside his own nation.

After all, if anything is indicative of a “broader illness” in society, it would be the Marxist public education system that is routinely churning out astonishingly entitled leftists who are empowering the likes of AOC in the first place.

Jason Snead, who serves as the executive director of Honest Elections Project Action, brilliantly summarizes Schumer’s pitiful attempts to correlate January 6 and a total election overhaul, and his commentary is vastly more straightforward than Schumer’s.

“Using the anniversary of 1/6 as cover to change the Senate rules and push through a highly partisan federal takeover of elections is abhorrent …

If your goal is to irreparably poison American democracy and undermine the credibility of our election system, I could think of no better legislation to accomplish that. This crass and cynical power grab deserves a resounding rebuke by senators and congressmen of both parties.” [Source: Townhall]

Sadly, the election of Biden has started poisoning American democracy … and one can only hope the long-term effect is not irreparable.
