BLM’s Dark Ties To Trump Dossier Exposed

According to a report from the Washington Examiner, two key Hillary Clinton allies have taken on major responsibilities with Black Lives Matter (BLM).

Specifically, Marc Elias, a prominent Democrat lawyer, now appears to serve as a representative of the BLM Global Network Foundation via the Elias Law Group, recently founded by the liberal attorney.

Additionally, Minyon Moore, a political consultant, is listed as one of the members of the board of directors for BLM, per filings from the leftist organization, which managed to secure charity status with the IRS.

Elias, who served as the general counsel for Clinton’s 2016 campaign, is known for providing funding to the anti-Trump dossier created by Christopher Steele, an ex-spy from the United Kingdom. The dossier has subsequently been debunked under closer investigation.

In addition, Moore was also a key political consultant over the course of Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign, as well as widely considered to be a member of the former First Lady’s questionable inner circle.

Per the Washington Examiner, the national organization For BLM frequently identifies the Elias law firm as one of its main addressed. In addition, in the short-year 2020 form 990, Elias firm is also listed as another one of its addresses, indicating that the books of BLM are now under the care of a core Clinton attorney.

In remarks to the Washington Examiner, Scott Walter, who serves as the president of the Capital Research Center, observed that “the latest filing’s addition of partisan lawyer Marc Elias confirms the group is more political than charitable.”

The national BLM group had been founded by self-declared Marxists, recently changed its 12-month accounting cycle in order to give itself breathing space for reporting exactly what it has done with all the millions it has acquired since its inception.

Regardless of the ultimate accounting presented by the group, Tom Fitton, who serves as the President of Judicial Watch, observed that “there seems to be very little daylight between the Democratic Party and Black Lives Matter.”
