Dictator Trudeau got his wish: He’s cleared away pesky protestors who happen to disagree with him locking everyone down indefinitely.
Oh, wait, apparently Trudeau hasn’t gotten his wish, as he isn’t just satisfied with clearing the protestors.
Apparently, he now wants to prosecute the protestors for daring to express their right to protest.
Clearly, the Canadian Charter means about as much to Trudeau as the U.S. Constitution does to Biden, which means that neither document means anything to either leader of the so-called free world.
And that is especially clear in the ominous warnings of the Ottawa police force.
“If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges. Absolutely,” Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell brayed.
What a surprise. Federal government going after conservative funds.
You know, the kinds of funds available when people actually do a little thing like work.
“This investigation will go on for months to come,” Bell obliviously continued, “It has many, many different streams both from a federal financial level, from a provincial licensing level, from a criminal code level, from a municipal breach of court order breach of court injunction level, it will be a complicated and time-consuming investigation that will go on for a period of time. You have my commitment that that investigation will continue, and we will hold people accountable for taking our streets over.”
Well, it’s inspiring to see how dedicated Canada is to terrorizing its own law-abiding citizens who dared to peacefully assemble after two years of nonsense.
Of course, one might think Canada would be better served by keeping its rapidly escalating Chinese population under control, in particular the obvious growth of Bank of China branches, but apparently the Freedom Convoy poses a bigger threat to Trudeau than his paymasters in the east.
One thing is for sure: Democrats can never again whine about the so-called end of democracy after observing how truly peaceful protestors were demonized.
Florida congressional candidate Lavern Spicer, for instance, was rather blunt in this regard.
“I don’t want to hear ONE MORE WORD from these ‘end of democracy’ Democrats until the White House denounces Trudeau and how he’s treating his peaceful protesters,” Spicer declared.
Laurence Fox tweeted an image of a George Orwell quote, which tellingly stated, “all tyrannies rule through fraud and force, but once the fraud is exposed they must rely exclusively on force.”
Alongside the quote from Orwell, Fox added, “I see that #BlackfaceHitler is trending. Good.”
Funny enough, Democrats have been busted in plenty of their own skeptical shenanigans, including none other than Hunter Biden making prolific use of highly derogatory racist terms, yet no one would ever be the wiser given the breathtakingly biased media.
Even billionaires like Elon Musk, ones dedicated to environmental objectives, no less, are subject to the wrath of the left for daring to disagree.
Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro writes about this phenomenon in depth after Musk was blasted for comparing Trudeau to Hitler.
“What was the left all hot and bothered about yesterday? What the left was hot and bothered about was the fact that Elon Musk tweeted out an internet meme about Hitler. This is what the left was super worried about,” Shapiro observed.
In other words, the left was deeply concerned about the increasingly obvious truth being revealed.
Especially the truth as spelled out by Shapiro.
“So, just to get this straight, if a Black Lives Matter activist attempts to murder a Jew in Louisville, this is not antisemitism. Even if his page is loaded with antisemitism, not antisemitism,” Shapiro continued, “However, if Elon Musk makes a Hitler joke about a leader who has now invoked an emergencies act to freeze bank accounts and utilize dictatorial power, Elon Musk must be, secretly, a vicious anti-Semite.”
It’s ridiculous, but the left has the dual advantages of media and social media to brainwash everyone.
Fortunately, Republicans are at least thinking about the Freedom Convoy, as evidenced by legislation proposed by Representative Yvette Herrell, who represents Nevada.
“Justin Trudeau’s heavy-handed crackdown against peaceful protesters in Canada is not the action of a Western Democracy, but that of an authoritarian regime like Venezuela,” Herrell announced, “Just as we provide asylum for political prisoners, we should do the same for truckers who have been subjected to violence, had their property confiscated, and their bank accounts frozen by a government that is quickly becoming the embarrassment of the free world.”
Amen. Even European leaders are likening Trudeau to a dictator, which shows you just how far down the Chinese rabbit hole he’s fallen.
“I am introducing legislation that would temporarily grant asylum to innocent Canadian protesters who are being persecuted by their own government,” Herrell concluded, “We cannot be silent as our neighbors to the north are treated so badly.”
Let’s see if Biden is as eager to help neighbors from the north as he is “neighbords” from the south …
