Fake News Blames Trump For Russia Crisis

In a fairly predictable move, the fake news media has gone from praising what a “tough guy” Biden is to blaming Trump for the crisis that has predictably occurred since Biden apparently wasn’t “tough” enough to scare Putin back into hiding.

Then again, Biden apparently couldn’t even get sworn into the presidency without the military guarding him, so it’s little wonder that Putin would give Biden about as much attention as he’d give a passing fly.

Of course, Anne Applebaum, a journalist for The Atlantic, a publication well known for its antipathy towards Trump, sees things remarkably differently.

“I think it’s also important to remember, going back to something that we talked about earlier, that Putin has made various efforts to undo western military support for Ukraine, including during the Trump Administration,” Applebaum brayed.

Right. Because Trump was the one threatening to withhold $1B in aid to Ukraine years ago unless Ukraine went after a prosecutor inspecting Burisma, a shady gas company that Trump’s son happened to be sitting on the board of despite knowing nothing about gas.

Oh, wait! That would be Biden, and Biden’s son Hunter ensnared in such a scenario.

However, it appears Ms. Applebaum isn’t letting a little inconvenient element of life, like facts, get in the way of her self-righteous, albeit well-written, narrative.

“If you remember, the argument over Trump’s first impeachment was about Trump refusing to give military aid to Ukraine because he imagined he could get some dirt on Joe Biden from the Ukrainians,” Applebaum continued, “So why didn’t Putin do this during the Trump Administration? Because he thought Trump was weakening Ukraine, especially on this ground. The problem of Ukraine being unfortified goes back several years and much of the fault lies in the Trump Administration.”

Or because he knew Trump would actually do something, unlike thumb-twiddling, teleprompter-dependent Biden, who has become so dependent that he now actually reads “end of quote,” or the instructions alongside the words he’s instructed to say.

“Whether there’s a military path or not is something that will have to be determined in the next few days,” Applebaum continued ominously.

Again, Biden was beaten by the Taliban, so one can only hope that he won’t initiate yet another failed “military path.” Especially when he will clearly just retreat anyway, as he did in Afghanistan.

Fortunately, the Governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem, has more of a clue.

“One day one of his presidency, [Biden] sent a clear message to Putin,” Noem intoned, “you go ahead and develop your energy supply, make sure that the rest of Europe and the United States is more unstable … From the very day he got into the White House, he gave Putin all the power.”

Exactly. If anyone “weakened” Ukraine, it would be Biden … starting with his killing of the Keystone XL pipeline will uplifting Putin’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Plus, speaking of his disastrous son, last time anyone checked, it was Hunter, neither Donald nor Eric, wailing about Russians having “dirt” on him.

Is it any wonder things are unfolding the way they are now?

For a fresh look at the next international debacle, it’s also worth noting that

Ming Jinwei, who serves as a senior editor at Xinhua News Agency in China, otherwise known as a media outlet that CNN tries to emulate, is already declaring China’s effective invasion of Taiwan.

“In the future, China will also need Russia’s understanding and support when wrestling with America to solve the Taiwan issue once and for all,” Jinwei warned.

Once and for all … Words worth thinking about.
