CNN Blames Trump For Oscars Fiasco

Amazingly, mainstream media news network CNN appears to have placed the blame, at least in part, on former President Donald J. Trump, at least per commentary from CNN analyst Asha Rangappa.

According to Rangappa, the shocking display of violence that occurred when Will Smith assaulted Chris Rock on stage during the 94th Annual Academy Awards is clearly linked to the 45th President of the United States.

“So did like anyone walk out after that happened?” Rangappa demanded after Smith violently assaulted Rock, who had made a relatively benign quip about Smith’s wife.

“Or are we getting an independent psychological case study on how Trump got normalized?” Rangappa fumed, ostensibly blaming Trump for the lack of consequences faced by Smith to date.

In spite of the shocking display of violence, Smith won an Oscar just a few minutes later, receiving widespread praise and adulation in spite of his public display of violence.

According to the CNN analyst, the generally anti-Trump Hollywood crowd remained seated in the auditorium even after Smith’s assault because of Trump.

Other Twitter users, however, were not impressed by Rangappa’s analysis, with one remarking, “Go to bed … [Not everything] is about Trump.”

Within twelve hours of blaming Trump for Smith’s violence, Rangappa appeared on Twitter again, declaring that the “hate emails have begun,” which apparently meant that her initial tweet “has made its way to the Breitbart ecosystem.”

Rangappa has drawn previous controversy for revealing the personal information of a Washington Free Beacon intern.

Interestingly, Rangappa is not only a current CNN analyst and lecturer at an Ivy League University, but she is also a former special agent with the FBI.
